In 6 quart (or larger) soup pot, brown 2lbs ground meat over medium high heat using a ground meat chopper to make it easier to reach an even texture.

Lower heat to medium low (or lower if it bubbles too much). At this point, the heat is simply to keep the chili warm before serving.
